I opened an AGR points account about 6 weeks ago and did a ton of shopping with various vendors through the AGR website. I still have zero points. How long should I wait before inquiring about where my points are?

Also, for a trip from Boston to Orlando, the Amtrak website says I will change trains in NY.

If I booked on all points, would the trip cost 50,000 points (for bedroom), or 50,000 points for the bedroom from NY to Orlando plus points for the leg from Boston to NY?

Thanks!

A bedroom from Boston to Orlando is a one zone redemption. That is 25,000 points for one, two, or THREE people in your bedroom from Boston to Orlando. I am not sure where you are getting the 50K points.

Enjoy! :)

As to the points, depends on the vendor, some are faster than others. Usually within 6 weeks, but not always. Some much faster. Can't hurt to call if its been over 6 weeks, but I've never been shorted from any of my purchases, usually I forget about one or two, and points just appear after a while. Also, be careful-some vendors credit you if you just link from AGR. Others require you to enter a code and your AGR number at checkout. Always read the offer details when clicking a link from AGR.

I get the majority of my points from shopping and sometimes it takes longer than it should for them to post. Just last week I opened a little inquiry with AGR because a company owes me 3000 points. AGR sent me an email that it should be resolved in about a month so I guess these things don't move too fast. It wouldn't hurt to send an email to ask what is happening.

Make sure youa re entering the vendor's website through its listing on the AGR page. If you go directly to the vendor it can be difficult to get the points later.

Not a bad idea to read AGR's policy on getting those points, if you haven't already.

About 25% of the points showed up this morning so I guess I will be patient and wait a few more weeks to see if the rest appear.

Thanks to all for taking time to respond.
