Night Owl consist

When I was young I rode the Night Owl a few times. My dad recalls the consist as being:

E60

Heritage Baggage

Amfleet I Coach

Amfleet I Coach

Amfleet I Café

Amfleet I Coach

Amfleet I Coach

Heritage 10/6 Sleeper

However, whilst searching for Night Owl consists on Google, I found a mention of the Night Owl carrying a Slumbercoach. Did it? What would the consist have been?

I believe there was a Slumbercoach at one time or another, but then in the mid-to-late '80s, many cars either were involved in derailments, etc. Sometimes (as I saw before) the train consisted of two sleepers out of BOS (plus the extra NYC-WAS sleeper, known as the "Executive" sleeper). Also, I believe the Amcafe (all coach seat)usually ran behind the sleeper, infront of the coaches.

I could be wrong but I do not remember a slumbercoach on this train.My timetables are out of place but I might get a chance to look later.
 
There was a period where the Night Owl only ran with a slumbercoach. It did not offer both. Ever.
 
And the Night Owl Amcafe was the only 'open-all-night' food service car on the entire Amtrak system. It did a brisk business with travelers getting on at all stops enroute.
 
With the announcement that Amtrak is seeking bids on new Viewliner sleepers it seems time to bring back the Night Owl in all its glory.
 
Mid nineties, when the Viewliners were replacing slumbercoaches. Slumbercoaches make more sense on the Nightowl anyway.

There was a short time that this train had one or two express cars coupled to the hind end out of South Station next to the then lone sleeper. IIRC, it was U.S. mail.

So the Slumbercoach or 10/6 Sleeper was at the REAR of the train? I'm trying very hard to get my consists in the correct order.

Was there a BOS-WAS sleeper in addition to a NYP-BOS sleeper? I'm lost.

Yeah, except I don't think the E60 was allowede to run the NewHaven-NewYork leg for some reason. Also and F40 powered the train from BOS-New Haven, then I think an AEM7. Phew this is giving me some work! :p
