Does anybody know when Norfolk Southern's annual meeting is scheduled to happen? I ask because I own a few shares of their stock, and they usually have the meeting in Hampton Roads (i.e. within driving distance), which would make it the first corporate meeting that I'd have a chance to attend.

If it follows the pattern of recent years, it should be held the second Thursday of May: this year, Thursday, May 10. The last couple have been held in Williamsburg. The proxy materials and meeting notice should be out next week

Thanks. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the proxies and whatnot (either in my mail or on the NS website). Williamsburg would be really convenient (as in, I am typing from Williamsburg right now and I'm up here 2-4 times/week).

I figure I'll get stuff in writing in the next 2-3 days (i.e. by the end of the week). Since this is the first time I'm actually planning to attend a meeting, does anybody know what I'll need to do as far as registration and whatnot?
