The first news broke this morning from Railpace Hot News that the opening date for the Albany-Rensselaer station will be Sunday, September 15th.
Whether they can now hold to that date is anyone's guess, as it's next weekend. The above cited article says that operations will be tricky for a while, until the final track can be cut in -- particularly for the joining/separating operations of the Lake Shore Limited.
