I have PM'd AlanB, but I read he ws going to Allentown. I am trying to post photos, but this klutz cannot figure out how to insert them in messages, which is commonly done here. I am am accustomed to attaching photos from my files to Emails, but haven't figured out how to do it here. Would one of you kindly enlighten me in easily understood English and you will be rewarded with several pics of the Japanese branch line I rode recently. Thx.

I'm actually back home from Allentown, for now. :)

As for posting photos, you must first have some place on the internet to host the photos for you. The board does not allow you to upload photos directly to the BB. Every photo that you've seen in the various topics, is hosted by some service, and then the author of the post inserts a link to that photo.

Some people use Smugmug to host the photos, there are also a few free services that can be used like Picasa. I'm sure that there are other's, however at the moment I can't think of the names. There are a few topics on this in various places on the BB.
