It seems today morning somebody in the San Francisco Bay Area thought the traffic on Highway 101 is too much to handle and instead decided to drive his car on the Caltrain tracks, resulting in this-

I find it hard to believe how do people even manage to pull off stupidity like this? This messed up morning commute for thousands of passengers, AND this was in addition to a train that broke down about half hour before this happened. Not a good day to commute on Caltrain.

Perhaps the Bay Area had an Idiot visiting from Austin! "The Worst Drivers in the World " (Apologies to Keith Oberman) that Exist here (can't say Live, they won't be around Long!) pull Stunts like this Daily! The GPS made Me Do It! :help:

I'm no expert but I'd wager the drivers in India are a whole lot worse than Austin. Heck, even the drivers in Houston are worse than Austin in my view. Besides, if stupid people were prevented from doing stupid things what would the rest of us talk about all day?

GPS has sent people into the water too, when it thinks the access road is an actual road. I've also read about people who turn left when it tells them to without looking to make sure traffic has cleared. /facepalm

Nothing is a substitute for a pair of eyes and common sense. Watch the signs, and watch the road. I freaking hate GPS. It always distracts me and makes me jump when it talks, and I'd rather rely on my eyes and the signs. Plus, GPS doesn't always take traffic patterns into account. I'd much rather take Stony Island to LSD when heading into the Loop than deal with the Dan Ryan during rush hour.
