Scaring people and then driving away = Cowards.
I don't know if it's just a Texas thing but generally pickup truck drivers tend to be among the most disruptive and least responsible drivers on the road down here. Personally I think every new driver should be limited to a Smart Car before they are allowed to earn a big vehicle license.

There are two types of pickup drivers.

* Those with the back filled with tools, lumber, etc. who are using it as a work truck. They're usually pretty good drivers.

* Those with an empty truckbed who are using the truck to present a macho "image" while they commute to their paper-pushing or customer-service job. They're usually *awful* drivers.

I was suggesting just the other day that a Commercial Drivers License should be required to buy a pickup. But then the awful drivers would drive sedans and it wouldn't be as easy to spot them in advance.
