HI guys,
I made an online reservation for a standard sleeper on the EB for next summer. I asked for sleeper #11 (we'll be going from SEA-CHI). When I asked again weeks later, they said they'd assigned #3, which we do not want. We have to sleep downstairs (for various reasons).
My girlfriend called Amtrak to make the change and some operator told her that it would cost $50 to make the change, which I find ridiculous. I went through this last summer with Amtrak and we were able to switch rooms at no charge. Besides, it's their mistake. Whom shall I talk to?
