Should the Washington state trains only be shown on the Northwest map, instead of including them on

I'm undecided on this...if you do so, I'd say you should put a note in saying "Washington/Oregon trains can be found on the following map".

One other suggestion, though: Have you considered extending the NEC map to Richmond/Lynchburg/Norfolk? There's a lot of overlap between the Virginia services and the NEC, and that area now has 22 trains/day (and as such, the map of VA can get a little crowded).

I just learned that you cannot peek at the results and then vote.

Sounds like a good idea. I agree with the above that the Virginia area can get crowded.
 
IMHO it's either this or eliminate the NW map. If I'm not mistaken, all the trains on the NW map are already shown on the W map, so one of the two is utterly redundant.

I voted no, with an assumption that you are referencing not only the Amtrak Cascades, but displaying the portions of the EB and CS that transit Washington in only a northwest map. I take both trains quite a few times each year (in 2011, 21 LD EB one ways, and 6 CS LD one ways, not including award trips)and rely on your map to track/montor those two trains start to finish, on the day(s) of travel and when trips are upcoming. If you are only talking about teh Amtrak Cascades, I am have no strong opinion either way.

I think I accidentally clicked null vote when I intended to vote "I don't care." I guess both mean the same thing.

I, for one, seldom look at the northwest corner, but to compare to the northeast corridor, I do appreciate the less clutter on the larger map. If I were to look at it more often, I guess I would appreciate less clutter in northwest as well.

I'm just appreciative to have this map to check on occasion. My wife thinks I'm crazy when I check it just for fun each evening...

I voted no, so far all of the routes I use (EB) are shown on the west maps and it is very convenient the way that it is. And I would also like to thank you for the time and effort you put into this very valuable resource. Right now I am tracking #8 EB for my ride from CBS to CHI to catch the #59 to NOLA.
 
I think there is a bit of confusion about this: I took the question to mean that the EB and CS would stay on the West map. Others understood this differently, however.

It's great the way it is, but if you want to change it, then go for it.

I like being able to see the EB, CS, and CZ all on one page.

I actually check your map quite often!

I voted "no." There are large chunks of the day with only a couple of active Cascades corridor trains. I see

no need to exile them to the Northwest map. Having the ability to click onto the separate Northwest map is

nice, but not necessary IMHO. Compared to CA or the NEC the region is unencumbered with trains,

unfortunately.
