Yep, Emeryville to Chicago. The Engineers and Conductors change every so many Hours but the OBS Generally work the entire route.

Yes, you will have the same attendant throughout the entire trip. You will love the Zephyr, it’s an amazing ride!

The only train where the attendant changes out is the LA-Chicago sleeper on the Eagle. On that one the LA based attendant works LA-San Antonio, and the Chicago based attendant works Chicago-San Antonio

According to one SCA I talked to, they are based either in Chicago or LA and work 3 days in one direction then turn around and work a trip 3 days back for a total of 6 days on duty. Then they have I think 4 days off then another 6 day tour etc.
