Shipping Cars

Hello,

I have two cars I would like to ship to rail as close to San Francisco CA as possible. One car is located in Baltimore MA and the other one is near Orlando FL.

I tried all kinds of searching, but have not come up with any solid information.

Any help is appreciated.

Recommend you check out a couple of websites, www.autodriveaway.com and www.shipmycar.com. I'm not sure if they go by truck or train but they will get your car where it needs to go. If by chance you are a member of one of the US Uniformed Services and are PCS'ing the government will move one vehicle for you at their expense.

Rail road cars, I assume.

That would be to Oakland, CA.

You can get to San Francisco by rail (not counting BART), but you have to go down to San Jose. (SP ran right to SF.)

I think the OP meant cars as in automobiles. Amtrak only carries passengers, not cars (except on the Auto Train). You should look on the Internet for "auto transport companies"".
