Is anyone familiar with the long term parking at SWIC? I would like to park here and travel to Amtrak in St. Louis for a ride on the Texas Eagle.

I park at the Shilo-Scott station very often. It is only a couple of miles, and one stop further east. The advantage is that it has designated, well lit long term parking and it is the end of the line, and it is free. There is little or no itinerant traffic at this station...everyone is at their destination or beginning their Metrolink trip at this point. I think this is one of the safest parking areas along the entire route, at least my car has never been tampered with. It is about half an hour ride to the Amtrak station.
