Storing baggage in Klamath Falls, Oregon

What is the policy at the Amtrak station in Klamath Falls regarding storing carry-on baggage for several hours before departure? I will be visiting next month for several days. Since the southbound Coast Starlight is due in at 10 p.m. and I have to return my rental car by noon (the rental car office closes at noon on Saturday), I need to store my luggage all afternoon and evening. Our destination once departing Klamath Falls does not handle checked baggage, so checking it in will not work for me.

If anyone can shed any light on this, I would be appreciative ...

They supposedly have baggage storage. Just click on "baggage" and they have baggage storage equivalent to "left luggage" in Europe. That's what it says if you hover over the question mark.

It appears they have bag storage, but you can of course only drop off or pick it up during open hours. They are open for both morning (northbound) and evening (southbound) trains. Just make sure you know the open hours so you don't go down there to drop it off, and find they are gone till evening.

Might not be a bad idea to call in advance and ask about what you want to do. Phone is not on the Amtrak page, but Mapquest says it is 541-884-2822. So does WikiVoyage (ooh, now that's a wonderful site!).

And of course, if the train is late, they stay open till the train has been and gone.
