I was on the CS and EB earlier this month. The CS had a few souvenirs in the Pacific Parlour Car; as I recall, a keychain, bottle opener, baseball cap. I have never seen anything else displayed on trains, though allegedly they have souvenir pins, but I've never actually seen them.

Last summer on the CS, they had Polo Shirts, Mugs, blankets, wine glasses, baby spoons, hats, playing cards & pins. Just ask. Some of the stuff was in the snack bar.

They had t-shirts on the CS last October. The snack bar attendant made announcements not that long after we left Seattle and they sold out fast. I ran down and got one of the last ones. I think it was $10.

Are T-shirts still sold on the Southwest Chief, Coast Starlight and Empire Builder?
If you take the Empire Builder into or out of Portland, OR, check out the gift shop in the Portland station for a good selection of train t-shirts, including Amtrak shirts. I bought one that shows the Empire Builder circa 1950s, and another that shows 2 Amtrak locomotives (I don't know the exact type, but I think they are P42s). Also picked up some freight shirts (Burlington Northern, CSX, Chicago and Northwestern). :)

Thanks for the heads up! I'm connecting from the Coast Starlight there in a few days and hopefully will have time to grab a couple! And I'm hoping not to see any bus seats on this part of the trip :)

Aloha

Last Saturday and Sunday My Granddaughter were on the Coast Starlight. They had Polo Shirts but only in adult Large. To small for me and to large for Evan. The Station newsstand in Portland had an impressive supply of Shirts available.

I order my t-shirts from Daylight Sales, good service, great shirts, and huge selection. Hats, mugs and lots of other products. Even blankets!
My Man! Once again you come thru with a killer external link . that sure looks like good reasonably priced quality stuff. THANKS keep those links coming

I've had people on the Zephyr stop me and ask where I got the Zephyr shirt!

Also the California State Railroad Museum has individual train name shirts from time to time in its gift shop. The shop also stocks a lot of pins, ancient and modern...

I recently found a link to another company selling railroad memorabilia and I already have no use whatsoever for that company. If and when I ever resolve my problems with that poor excuse for a company I will gladly use the company in Petaluma's link.
