The Cardinal cancelled 6/7 Chi-Was

I checked in at the Chicago Metropolitan Lounge Wed to take my first ride on train 50, the Cardinal. The Cardinal to WAS was cancelled, no reason given. Agent called for more info, but didn't get much. I was put on train 30, Capitol Limited. Anyone know what is up with The Cardinal?
