Three PRR Cars on Amtrak #5(31)

On Halloween evening, I caught Amtrak #5(31) westbound east of Ottumwa, Iowa with three private cars on the end. Unfortunately, the California Zephyr, was running a bit late which at this time of year means it was too dark to make out a lot of details. The first two private varnishes were stainless steel with some Pennsylvania Railroad logos. The last car in "Tuscan red," I think, was the Catalpa Falls. I've read elsewhere these cars are going to the Heber Valley Railroad in Utah.

Sounds like it’s found a new home and won’t be roaming the rails. What a shame. Saw many of these 6dbr- lounge cars on Pennsylvania trains.
