Trains for october 21 2012

Hi there!

I will visit Boston and New York in october and I found out there are no trains and buses

for October 21st, Sunday. Can anyone help me ? Is there a new holiday in the USA for

this day?

October 21, 2012, is Harold Camping's latest date for the End of the World. He hasn't been right yet. I'd go ahead and make plans to take the train.

I double checked both sites of train and bus transportation and the calendar window doesn't accept october 21st !!

Maybe it is better try some other time !!

YES ! I am using the site www.amtrak.com, when I try to buy the ticket on the tickets, buy tickets window (left side), I write the stations names (find station) and when I choose "departs" on October calendar,I click on number 21, it doesn't work and it changes immediately to number 20 of october !!! So I have options for 20 or 22 but not for 21st of october which makes feel insecure... I hope amtrak "HELP" channel can help me with this purchase! Tks anyway!

Are you using www.amtrak.com? It seems to be working for that date for trains between New York and Boston.

Some trains only run 3 days per week - notably the Sunset Limited and the connecting Texas eagle thru cars. Also the Cardinal. Is this possibly what is causing your problem?

Seems to be Boston and New York, so I'm guessing no connection to the Sunset Limited or Cardinal.
