Unannounced 2 - 1 and 3 - 1 perk

I have 4 free regional one ways, and 2 free acela one ways.

Somehow, the Regionals are for BC and the Acela are for FC!

I have not found an explanation for this, I figure it could be because most of the trips I made for each were in those respective classes, although with a single exception, I did not pay for the FC upgrade. Perhaps it is an unannounced Select Executive perk? Either way, I am not complaining.

I don't think it's for a class of service. It was just based on the rate paid. (IIRC above $49 each way for a Regional or above $75 one way for Acela.)

The cut off on the Acela is $90.

But the promotion is for Regional Coach, and Acela Business.

The vouchers I recieved were Regional Business and Acela First!

FWIW, I took regional coach and my vouchers are for regional coach. I was Select this year so don't know if it had to do with tier status.
