I was wondering if you could earn agr points for using this. Also, I know that it is possible to upgrade to sleepers. But are there any restrictions to using the pass? Thanks

Yes, but I think you only earn the 2/$ for buying the pass - NOT the 100 point minimum per segment.

Yes, by paying the regular upgrade fare.

But are there any restrictions to using the pass?

As far as I know, it only covers the rail fare at the LOWEST bucket - anything above requires you to pay the difference. Example, if the low bucket for a segment is $129, but the current bucket is $159, the pass will cover $129 but you would have to pay $30 more if you want to ride that train that day.
