I recently changed the email address that AGR has for me. This went relatively smoothly, although the login connection between amtrak.com and amtrakguestrewards.com had to be re-established.

But when I logged in to my account after the email change went through, all of my e-vouchers had disappeared! It turns out that these vouchers are associated with email addresses, not AGR numbers. I called AGR, and the best they could do was to email me the voucher info to my old email address (which luckily I still had access to). They said I should be able to use the vouchers by entering the numbers manually on the reservation payment screen. And the agent was able to see them, so I could probably make a reservation that way.

But the bottom line is: if you ever need to change the email address on AGR, make sure that you have copies of any open vouchers. You'll need them.

I ran into the same thing after I changed my email.

You enter the voucher number. The system will ask for the email associated with that voucher. Enter that email address, the system will confirm it, and the value will be credited to the purchase. Clunky, but as long as you know the original voucher number, it finally works.

I had an eVoucher that wasn't showing on Amtrak.com and had to do what Bill did to get it to show up. I had not changed my AGR email, but that email is different than the one I had/have for Amtrak.com.
