I just noticed this tonight when glancing at the timetable for VRE for another thread, but sometime in the last year or so (I want to say the last few months), 66/67 was added as a cross-honor option for VRE tickets. The VRE schedule used to only offer cross-honoring on the four morning Regionals north and the four afternoon/evening Regionals south, but (likely as a side-effect of VA taking over the Regionals) one can apparently now use a VRE monthly ticket plus a step-up ticket to run a "reverse commute" as well. While I strongly suspect this isn't used much, I am kind of surprised that there seems to have been no mention of the change whatsoever anywhere but the timetable (it does not even seem to have gotten a casual mention in VRE's Ride Magazine).
