That little bubble over Olympia got me excited for a second, like they were going to extend Sounder down there or something.

Have they really not started any construction on Point Defiance Bypass? I though they've been working on that for a few years now.

They really haven't. They did a lot of i-dotting and t-crossing with their studies because there's a group of troublemakers in Lakewood who threatened to sue.

The civil engineering is pretty much designed, I believe, except for the Tacoma station itself, which has undergone a few rounds of design work. There's probably loads of permits to get though.

As was said, WDOT is doing their homework on this one which is good!
