Yesterday on the UP Mainline in Omaha there was a train parked with at least 30 orange and grey bilevel passenger cars. They looked to be fairly old and rough. Any guesses as to what these may be?

A BNSF spur runs through the switching yard there now that I think about it. The CZ take that spur to service Omaha. These cars looked really rough though, is the BNSF corporate train not as well maintained as the UP one?

They could be old galley cars still painted in the old RTA scheme. They were basically grey with orange stripes but I couldn't tell without seeing a photo of one.

All the BNSF trains I have seen are grey/stainless. I have never seen a BNSF passenger car painted in BNSF colors.
That would be because BN sold off their lot to Amtrak in 17 which used green/white livery, and Santa Fe used stainless steel with only minor touches of red and yellow.

I think.

Yeah, I was just responding to the person who said it might be a BNSF corporate train. I meant I had never seen a BNSF corporate train painted in BNSF colors.

I saw them on sale at Ozark Mountain for a song. I was thinking about buying them for a little bit there, but a gallery car doesn't really work with my plans.
