I understand the Wilshire Purple Line extension is divided into 3 phases, with Phase III scheduled for completion in 2035. I also understand that Metro is applying for around $1 billion in New Starts grant funding and around $300 million for Phase II. If this funding is approved, would this affect the overall schedule for the entire project, or was it already anticipated as part of the 2035 timeframe?
