This just came across our news.

A Galesburg woman was killed Sunday night after she apparently tried to beat a train that nearing a crossing. 42 year old Kimberly Johnson was walking southbound on Broad Street near Water Street just after 7pm when she started to speed up as a freight train approached the crossing headed eastbound. The train crew told investigators they saw a woman and applied their emergency brakes but it apparently was not enough. Johnson was found lying on the south side of the tracks near the crossing. Police say the crossing gates and emergency lights were working at the time of the accident.

What a dummy!!!!!!Was it worth it?
