What hours are meals served on SWC?

What hours could I expect breakfast, lunch and dinner be served on the Southwest Chief? Just want an idea when I'd be eating and when I might avoid passing through the diner to get to the lounge car.

Breakfast is served starting around five and ends about nine. Lunch starts about 11 and goes on until about two pm. Most of the time breakfast is first come first served. Lunch is sometimes by reservation. Dinner is by reservation always and has the first setting at five and last chance is nine PM. What part of the Chief are riding? If you are riding into LA there is one quick setting for breakfast.

Breakfast never starts before 6 or 6:30 unless early arrival at destination warrants it. Lunch will not start before 11:30.

Since you are riding sleeper the dinner crew will know you and won't mind you walking through the dinner on the way to the lounge car. Order the best meals because as a sleeper passenger you meals are part of your sleeper fare. I always get the streak and dessert for dinner.
