I prefer leather vs vinyl for that reason. Some plastic seats have "micro-perfs" that supposedly help.

I had one of these on the Sunset Ltd last fall, nice update, but the AC and Toliets still were in need of a Major rehab!

There was a duct tape mend on the ceiling of our Coach car on the Lincoln Service/Missouri River Runner last week. I can do duct tape mends at home, but would hope that Amtrak could do better-quality maintenance than that.

The touchy/feely controls. Are not my friend. Not sure why I almost always have trouble activating these things.

I like the new seats. I used to slip and slide around (mainly down) on the old ones, but I stay in place on these. Somehow they're grippier.
