Does 3 coming into LA turn into 4 the next day? and does 4 coming into Chicago turn into 3 on the way back? or do they have an extra set in case train is running really late.

Hello, I am taking the Chef to California from Chicago in January. First time trying a train in winter time. How is the southwest chef in the winter time? Does the heat work on the sleepers? Is it best to take an extra blanket on your carry on. Thanks Moosejunky99

Probably why 4 was cancelled today. I hope they gave the passenger time to re-book on different train sets to get back to where they needed to go. .

Hello, Looks like the tracks was blocked but the 5 and 3 are on the move to their stops are 6hrs behind schedule now. At least for the first class passengers, you get nice place to sit and wait for the train to leave.

It was changed 10hrs in advance before my departure. The bedroom was using more people. I think it was 3 people.. but i don't remember for sure.

If you do an instance purchase, Can they still boot you for being a single rider? I know i got booted from my bedroom on my silver meteor train 2 years go but that was not using bidup though.
