"Railfan" Charged in Derailment

A very immature "railfan" turned saboteur charged in freight derailment he posted on social media.

The reports on this case seem a bit odd.... is there actually proof that he is the one who tampered with the switch?

Pretty weak case.

The proof was off screen, so I don’t know how this case even makes to a jury.

We use to film the crowds at fire scenes looking for familiarity people. The fire inspect know many by first name. Does mean everyone watching a house on fire is an arsonist? Nope just too many people with nothing better to do.

I read no facts or proof of anything in the story. Someone published a YouTube video but it was still photos of the crash, not live. If your going to derail a train and video it, you need to keep filming the crash, not stop as the engines go past you.
