Hello! I wanted to re-introduce myself. I first joined this group over 10 years ago. At that time, my family took a trip on the Empire Builder. The info from this group was very helpful. I didn’t even have to ask that many questions after reading the information already provided.
Since that trip, I’ve been hibernating (you know, ‘life’), but I’m ready to emerge again as we’re planning another trip.
This time we’ll be WB on the CZ (OSC to EMY), spend time in the Bay Area, fly to Chicago and then ride the rails back to our vehicle in IA (CHI to OSC).
I have a few specific questions. After quickly review the 'rules' and etiquette suggestions, I deduced it would be best for me to post those questions in the "California Zephyr discussion 2024 H2". I'll do that soon.
