That most certainly is not First Class dining plating! A chef in a smart casual restaurant would be embarrassed to have what he/she prepared was plated in such a sloppy manner.

It has been a few years since I have flown on Air Canada and landed/departed at Pearson International in Toronto. But, those flights were always good and the airport experience as good as it could have been. Times have certainly changed!

When I was in New Orleans a few years ago, that was my experience as well. When the coffee pot was empty, no staff refilled it. I don't recall any supplies available so that a passenger could have made another pot.

I had a similar experience when I was on the California Zephyr. Early morning, as the Sun was rising, opened the curtains and had a beautiful view of the Utah countryside.

I have had that happen when I have flown. The luggage takes an earlier plane and arrives at my destination before I do. (Does become a bit stress causing, though, when the baggage carousel for your flight stops and your bags have not been on it. The bags were in the baggage service office.)

Today was time for an oil change for my Buick. The dealer did have more cars on the front lot than were there several months ago when I drove by. Most of the cars were GMC vehicles with just a few Buicks.

As large of a station as Los Angeles Union Station is, isn't there some larger unused space to develop a new lounge? An asset for the present lounge is the easy access to the platforms for the Red Caps and the guests using their services.

That's a very good sounding menu. I have friends who will soon be flying on Finnair Helsinki to New York in Business Class. Their projected menu choices do not sound as appetizing as these do.
