I can't tell you which Beers are currently on offer on the Canadian, but Canadian Beer has a Stronger Alcohol Content than American Beer. And due to Taxes on Alcohol, and the Goods and Servicd Taxes, it is Priceier than Beer sold in the US.

It is rare mileage for sure, but there is absolutely Nothing to see but "Miles and Miles of Miles" as the saying goes! Eastern New Mexico, the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma are sort of like the North Dakota to Eastern Montana part of the Empire Builder route, but even more so!😉

Temple has BNSF and UP Freights running past the Station, and the Dispatchers give preference to both RRs over the Eagletes. Taylor, the last stop before Austin, has a Freight yard (UP)that also causes delays, especially since Tesla started shipping Cars out of this yard.

I've used all of these methods to/from NYP and the 3 Airports, and agree that La Guardia is by far the easiest to use! I don't recommend taking the City Bus from the Newark Airport to Newark Penn Station, it is very Slow,crowded and goes thru some less than desirable areas of Newark!

Lucky you, I've not been on the Cap since COVID, but probably rode it 100 times back in the day! Same thing with the Crescent,and I was fortunate to have Good Crews and Good Food!
