Don't think I saw that email; but I did use the discount to save $4 going to a hockey game this week.

(But, it does make it harder to spend $50 to get the 1000 points when I keep getting discounted fares)

Yep it worked for me a few times now. They are serious about 3-day advance reservations though.

I, almost like Chuljin; usually buy a handful or so for my regular IRV-ANA excursions. I like to have enough on hand to make sure they are always bought 3 days ahead for my AAA discount. I'm trying to figure out how many I need by Mar -31 to buy now.
