Many of us have been wondering, what's the current status of ACS-64 #601, the unit that got wrecked in Philly?

And also, will it be repaired or retired? I didn't see any signs of life-claiming damage to the frame or anything.

Someone kept writing on Wikipedia that it's been "written off", but I know it's false, because another Wikipedia user keeps removing it.

The only folks that can "inspect it" are the NTSB and the FRA IINM.
Ahhh, what do you know Acela150? Clearly, you're wrong. Didn't you read the following??

There you have it! This new poster didn't see any signs of life-claiming damage!! Obviously, this person has performed an inspection and he and the many other people that are wondering (but haven't posted) want to know what the delay in making a decision is!
