I wish them the best of luck with their purchase. In today's difficult times with the Corona Virus, and the economic fallout resulting from the Coronavirus it will be really tough for existing car owners. Much less new ones. So I wish them nothing but the best with their investment in these troubled times. I am really happy that someone is preserving the Amfleet style car. While I have never been a large fan of the Amfleet I have to say to many and including myself they are what we grew up riding. The Amfleets are going to end up much like the celebrated GG1, AEM7, and F40PH into the history books of rail history.

Not all tourist railroads are scenic railroads. I will point out the high popularity of "Santa trains", "Polar Expresses", and "dinner theater trains", many of which operate in the dark. So I can definitely see a tourist railroad using the Amfleets despite their tiny windows.
