Hello,
I've recently joined the Rail Passengers Association and received a 7-digit ID number. I tried entering this number into amtrak.com (I had logged in to my Amtrak Guest Rewards account) when booking a ticket, for the 10% discount, but the AGR website only allows you to enter 6 digits for the Rail Passengers Association ID number. I spoke to an Amtrak agent and he said I have to talk to their customer service department, but so far I've had no luck getting through - the phone call got dropped both times. Does anyone know what is the problem with the AGR website, and how to resolve this issue? Would really appreciate your insights here.
