Hi All

I am going to be purchasing a 30 day rail pass in May to tour around the country and came across the guest rewards program and I have a few questions which the FAQ section on the site doesn't seem to answer

Firstly do you have to be a American citizen or live in the USA to qualify , on the enrolment site only Canadian or American addresses seem to be valid and secondly can you earn points on a 30 day 12 segment pass

Thanks in advance

Nick

No, you do not need to be an American or Canadian citizen, but you do have to have a US or Canadian address on your account. If you have a friend in the US or Canada, you could use that address as your address - and all mail from AGR would be sent there. Then your friend could send it to you.

Normally each ticket earns 2 AGR points per US$ spent, with a 100 point minimum per segment. However, with a pass you only earn the 2 points per US$. :(

No, you will get the normal 2/$ for the upgrade. :) It just that you only get 2/$ for the pass.

Example: From SFC-SAC, you would take 2 segments (a Thruway SFC-EMY and a CC EMY-SAC). Normally, on a regular ticket, you would get the 100 point minimum per segment. Using a pass, you would have to use 2 segments of of the xx, and you will only get 2/$ for the purchase of the pass.
