Many things have changed once then. Even that the Silver served real meals in real Dining Cars back then!

Yep, I got caught! I thought this was an interesting new idea and after reading the first page looked at the dates of the posts!

Is it still around? Or was it something, like the citizens advisory council, created to make riders feel good, with the intention of quietly getting rid of it later?

That tape reminds us of that awful tape at LAX airport. The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading only. No parking. 20 years ago and still sticks.

They don't have that anymore (which is a disappointment, since it's memorably parodied in the movie "Airplane!" -- the filmmakers even got the same voiceover artists to do it).
