Amtrak to the Beach

Downeaster today Labor Day Weekend Sunday to Old Orchard. The beach seemed crowded to me but I have never been there before. Many train riders off and on with me.

I took the same ride with my family from WOB - arrived to Old Orchard Beach at 2PM and left at 7PM. The cafe car attendant told me 100 people boarded to head south, which sounded about right.

I also had never been there before but it was absolutely jammed. There was really nowhere left to sit on the beach by the time we got there. However, it was still a fun outing.
