Baltimore washington public transport going down the tubes?

Last week, MARC 407, my daily train, was cancelled. This morning, MARC 407 was cancelled again. Fotunately, NER 67 was running on time, so I got to DC with minimal delay and no SRO conditions. But Metro was funky, and I waited 10 minutes for a train.

Now I learned how funky Metro really is. No service at all tomorrow! Haven't decided whether to Telework or play MARC roulette and then take the D6 bus from Union sta.

I hope this sort of thing isn't becoming a regular part of the DC commuting scene.
