It should be noted that this museum is a private enterprise, and is not sponsored by the bus line, but it is still very worthy of a visit to see and learn more about the great history that Greyhound had.

Former owner’s of Greyhound Lines did sponsor a very nice historic fleet, that was split between various Company garages, and contained lovingly restored coaches of different era’s, that were displayed nationally at special events, like new terminal openings (anyone remember those?). They even had a modern coach that was converted to a “museum coach”, with extensive collections of models, vintage ads, timetables, photos, vintage uniforms, badges, tickets, sign’s, publication’s, etc.

Unfortunately, the last owner’s (FirstGroup), did not see the PR value of the historic fleet, and disposed of it, before they in turn sold the entire company (to FlixBus).

For those interested in seeing more great bus history including Greyhound and other’s, I highly recommend a visit to these two museum’s…
