I've considered the library, but the mall is good for my 1/2 hour walk. Then I sit in one of the areas with nice seats and surf the web or read my eBook.

Thanks, Austin pretty much shuts down as far as traffic goes when there is ice on the roads! It' s like the good old days ( before the '90s) when there was no traffic and everything was cheap!☺

Speaking of cold. Had to turn off the heater this morning. The ?filter? between the oil tank & furnace is leaking (that explains the diesel smell during the night). Neighbor helped turn off the valve and clean up while I waited for the oil company to call me back. Should have someone here by noon. Luckily it's not the tank though that is old and should be replaced. Wonder if landlord will replace it this summer.
