Does Amtrak still have any staffed non-train "stations"?

I seem to recall that SFC was the most prominent one. Previously at the building near the San Francisco Ferry Building, but later sharing Greyhound's building at the Temporary Transbay Terminal. Hasn't returned to the new Transbay Terminal as expected, but that's way too complicated a matter.

It was kind of a strange place since it was only for buses, but it did have a purpose in that it allowed for checked baggage service to reach San Francisco.

The other strange thing is that it was not open early enough for the arrival of the overnight Coast Line Thruway bus. This was especially inconvenient in winter wet weather.

In early days of Amtrak they served the Madison, Wisconsin Milwaukee Road station. This was before the Thruway concept when there were bus carryovers from arrangements made by the legacy rail passenger operations.

For what period did Amtrak directly serve Madison, WI? From what I've heard, the last time Madison had passenger train service was until the startup of Amtrak.

STP (St. Pete/Clearwater) was a staffed non-train station that was recently closed. The bus now stops at a local bus stop in Pinellas Park, FL. Of course that means no more baggage service.

For what period did Amtrak directly serve Madison, WI? From what I've heard, the last time Madison had passenger train service was until the startup of Amtrak.

Amtrak never included train service into Madison. Their contractor connected with all trains at Columbus. (For a brief period around 1974-75 Greyhound operated it and then withdrew.) The photo was in reference to off-line Amtrak stations.
