St Pancras is an amazing place, that has retained many of its original features despite several refurbishments and at one point, threat of demolition.
I remember it well in the 1980s when it was still a mix of past grandeur, decay and diesel fumes, with seemingly far too much space for the rather sparse services that were being run out of the station back them. How times have changed, with it now being a splendidly rebuilt terminus for Eurostar and a gateway for continental visitors to London.
