Elevated and Underground Amtrak Stations

there is a metro station next door that is indeed elevated but alx amtrak is ground level. pretty building that matches well with the old town architecture though.

Solana Beach, CA. Built to replace the old ground level Del Mar station. The trains stop in a trench below the station building.
