Hey Eddie! Most enjoyable, :wub: it was great to meet you, Im getting to do on a more domestic level what you are doing, travel around enjoying the people and places in the US! Still smile about the comment about seperation by a common languagew and your take on the little Irish Lady on the MORR! Found your comments about Detroit spot on, believe I recommended it!

HHope the rest of your travel go well, look forward to seeing further reports and meeting you again, perhaps in England! Really enjoyed the lunch in KCY, I agreed that the waitress was interesting, and you were right about saving the abortion stuff for private after the meal! Jim

Just a quick update..Still in Chicago!

I managed to injure my back last week and haven't felt much like sitting in a LD train, so I cancelled my trip to LAX.

Feeling better now, so having a day trip tp Springfield and back tomorrow.

Unfortunately, my back is still not 100%, and I need to be carefull not to exacerbate it.. so no more long train rides for a while..
