Hattiesburg, MS Parking

Any history on parking safety in the lot across the access road from the Hattiesburg, MS station?

(I wanted to post this in the Guest Forum, but being a member, was not allowed. )

We parked there over Christmas with no issues. I called HBPD and told them we'd park there. I think the PD does a regular patrol by the area. I couldn't find any protected parking in Hattiesburg.

Thank you. I was told that there was a police substation nearby, but have never seen it in my few trips through that area.
