I'm planning a trip to Eastern Europe (Krakow, Prague, Vienna, Budapest). I'm curious how common luggage lockers are in stations in these areas?

I'd love to be able to leave my bag at the station, explore a bit then take a train later. It's been awhile since I've been to Europe and am wondering if these are fairly common today?

I just visited Prague and Vienna (and various places in Germany) in September, and lockers are very common in large and medium-sized train stations, and even some smaller ones.

Seat61.com has guides for the Prague central station and the Vienna central station that show exactly where the lockers are. (There's also a guide for Krakow and a guide for Budapest that mention where the lockers are in both stations, but with no photos.)

Awesome, thanks so much!

Is it often common to find them all full? One place in particular I'd like to use a luggage locker is Oswiecim, Poland to visit Auschwitz (from Krakow in the morning). Then catch a night train afterwards to Prague.
