I say chaps! Jolly fine old BBC posh clipped accent, don't you know!

Several "nationalised" concerns had their own film making units back after WW2, and there are a good number of well made general interest documentary films from London Transport, British Rail, Post Office, etc.

(This particular one is obviously a non general release training film.)

My job as a trainee driver back in the 1970's included the coupling and uncoupling of loco to train, and fun wrestling with the vacuum brake pipes... don't recall those pins ever being used though.
