For the safety of Amtrak customers and employees, due to impending Hurricane Milton, select trains will operate a modified schedule as follows: Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available.

Monday, Oct. 7th

Silver Service


  • Train 91 is canceled between Jacksonville (JAX) and Miami (MIA).
  • Train 97 is canceled between Jacksonville (JAX) and Miami (MIA).


Tuesday, Oct. 8th - Thursday, Oct. 10th

Silver Service


  • Train 91 is canceled between Jacksonville (JAX) and Miami (MIA).
  • Train 97 is canceled between Jacksonville (JAX) and Miami (MIA).
  • Train 92 will originate in Jacksonville (JAX).
  • Train 98 will originate in Jacksonville (JAX).
Auto Train Service

  • Train 52 is canceled.
  • Train 53 is canceled.


Friday, Oct. 11th

Silver Service


  • Train 92 will originate in Jacksonville (JAX).
  • Train 98 will originate in Jacksonville (JAX).
 
Thanks for the update. I passed it on to a friend who is stuck in TPA for what was a work conference. He was looking for a backup option to get out and he was trying to fly out on Tuesday once the waivers went into effect.
 
It’s so easy to criticize on line, isn’t it? But maybe it is good stewardship to use caution when a system cannot be tested in real time. If there is a washout, the train encounters it to the detriment of its passengers and equipment. Is Amtrak committed to gonzo? I don’t think so. As a passenger I hope not. These storm events aren’t boardgames or virtual. They are reality in significant terms. If you want to snark do it on a different platform.
